Moon sign compatibility

A reference library for Sun signs, planetary placements and synastry. Start with the information you have, understand the method, and keep uncertainty visible.

Why compare Moon signs?

In astrology, the Moon is interpreted through emotional habits, comfort and instinctive responses. Comparing Moon placements adds a different layer from the Sun. Exact placements need reliable birth information; a Moon near a sign boundary needs extra care when the birth time is unknown.

Read the method first

  • How does each person look for reassurance?
  • What makes an ordinary day feel comfortable?
  • Could an uncertain birth time change this Moon placement?

Separate the inputs from the interpretation. Identify which chart factors are known, which depend on a birth time, and which conclusions go beyond what the information supports.

Read the distinction carefully

A Moon-sign label and a Moon aspect are different inputs. Knowing a sign narrows a position to a zodiac sector; it does not establish the exact angular separation from another planet. If the birth time is uncertain, check the possible range before selecting a sign or an aspect interpretation.
